MILLENNIUM Development Goal (MDG) is set of goals which has been agreed by the world leaders at the Millennium Summit in New York in September 2000. There are representation from 189 countries at the Summit where 147 are presented by the presidents. The conference discusses issues related to peace and development including the factors of environment, protection to vulnerable groups, human rights, good governance, and brought set of goals of development which interrelated to the global agenda. Department of Child Health Airlangga University – Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya, dominates the award. The team that consist of Wiryani, Anang Endaryanto, and Arianto Harsono, from Soetomo Hospital, grab the first award. The second is awarded to Rizky Vitria Prasetyo, Abdul Latief Azis, and Soegeng Soegijanto. The third prize for Lucia Pujiastuti Retnaningtyas, Subijanto M. Sudarmo, Arfiyanto Harsono, and Sylviati M.
